Winter Concert—Important Details
The winter concert is this coming Monday, December 17th, at 6:30pm at Sanderson High School!! We are so excited to share with you what we have been working on this semester!
Please read below for information:
Students should arrive at the SHS auditorium at 6:00pm. Enter the high school through the bus/stadium entrance, not the main entrance.
Students should leave their cases in their cars.
Parents, please wait until doors open at 6:20pm to enter the auditorium.
Students should wear proper concert attire (black shoes, black socks, black bottoms, white or black tops). Students may wear a festive “accessory” such as holiday/winter-related ties, earrings, etc.
If your student is going to need a ride, please arrange that ASAP. Let me know if I can be of assistance.
Our concerts also serve as our no-fuss fundraisers, so invite lots of people! We are currently fundraising to buy more tubas. Remember that we have a HUGE auditorium, so there will be plenty of seating! Cash and checks (made out to HABB) are welcome!
Students need to send in a recording of their concert pieces, with the metronome clicking in the background, to my email (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Sunday evening at 9pm. Please check the grade tabs for specific details.
All-District Registration Fee
If your student signed up for all-district, please send in their registration fee of $8.00 ASAP. We had a whopping 26 students register to audition!! More details to come soon.
T-shirts will be here the week we get back from break!
7th & 8th Grade Band Books:
There are still students who haven’t brought in money for books. Please check the previous weeks’ announcements for the prices.
